Thanks as always for stopping by. Been busy writing and performing with a host of great talent!
On Friday the 18th of July I had the great pleasure of joining 'Kenney Jones and friends' at the Roundhouse for a charity concert supporting Blue Sky Villages. For those who don't know (where have you been for the last 50 years??!!) Kenney was a seminal part of three of the biggest bands to have come out the UK. Namely 'The Small Faces,' 'The Faces' and one of my all time favourites 'The Who!' It was an absolute pleasure to have joined Kenney and his amazing band... He's definitely still got all the fire and flare of his hey day and recreating some of those classic songs was an absolute joy! We were also fortunate enough to have been joined on stage by Paul Young (such a nice guy)!
I've spent a bit of time touring about Europe with the Jim Stapley band as well. In May we performed at the Harley Davidson rally in St Tropez and in June we joined Harley in Croatia. The rallies were amazing as always and we were very spoiled by the audiences and hospitality. I returned back from Croatia to play with Far South artist Katie Raven on the main stage of the Marylebone Summer Fayre. Katie is releasing a single in the coming months... Exciting stuff!
I'd previously mentioned I've been working with singer/songwriter Jennifer Clarke. I'm very pleased to announce that a song we've written has received recognition from the Nashville songwriters association. We're debuting the song at the Bedford SW12 on August 5th. She's an amazing artist and I'm so proud of the song and look forward to many more!
I've also had the pleasure of accompanying a talented Aussie singer songwriter by the name of Senani on her London tour which was capped off today with a radio performance and interview at Brooklands FM. We had loads of fun and I look forward to her next visit.
Cheers again for your interest, check back soon for more updates
